Zucchini might possibly be my favorite vegetable, with its vibrant green skin and soft insides leaving you with endless recipe possibilities. What is on the menu tonight? Zucchini pizza sticks. Yum!
This simple recipe can be made with ingredients already in your fridge or pantry, and in the words of Food Network’s Ina Garten, your going to be saying “How easy was that?” right before you devour your cheesy, delicious creation.
Fresh zucchini, olive oil, garlic seasoning, marinara pasta sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese
Ready, Set, Cook!
Set the oven to 400 degrees F
Wash the zucchini and make a slice, lengthwise down the middle, splitting the zucchini into two equal halves
Place the zucchini halves onto a tinfoil lined baking sheet, skin side down with the flat side up
Drizzle olive oil over the upward facing zucchini halves, sprinkle garlic seasoning over the oil, then spread even over the zucchini top with the back of a spoon
Spoon a few scoops of marinara pasta sauce onto the upward facing zucchini halves, spread evenly with the back of a spoon and sprinkle on mozzarella cheese
Bake for 15-18 minutes
