Here in Arizona, citrus season is in full force! Walking into the grocery store is a little overwhelming when you have about ten different types of sweet and sour circular orange treats to choose from. When you get tired of sipping your endless glasses of orange juice and the bottomless mimosas aren’t cutting it, you will have this delicious drink to bring life back to your tired, bored taste buds. This super simple recipe gives you such a refreshing taste of spring! Make this recipe the night before, pour in a mason jar with a lid and enjoy for breakfast or as a midday snack.
What is your favorite spring drink?
Blender, citrus hand squeezer, two 8 oz. cups
-2 teaspoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice
-1 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice (preferable from cara cara oranges)
-1/2 tablespoon of honey
-1 1/2 heaping cup cubed mango
(Makes two 8oz servings)
Step 1: Gather your ingredients
If you can, use cara cara oranges, they have such a sweet and unique orange flavor. If you can’t squeeze your own juice, use 100% orange juice with pulp.

Step 2: Load it in, blend it up
Depending on your preferred thickness, blend for a few seconds or up to one minute. If you want a smooth and fluffy drink, you can blend on high for a little over a minute to create tiny air bubbles, which makes the drink more thick and silky.
Step 3: Pour & enjoy
If you use all fresh foods like I did, put the ingredients in the fridge a few hours before so your drink will be cold, and not room temperature. But don’t worry, if you decide to use frozen ingredients, your drink will be nice and chilled.
